I know it has been very cold winter all over Europe and UK is having problems with snow and cold. Here in Finland we are used to weather like this, we got proper tyres in cars and heated houses and trible glazings in windows and so on. I  have never liked wintertime very much but i have to admit its beautiful! Our day is 6 hours 20 mins long now and we are getting more light every day! Around christmas we had only about 5 hours daylight. Looking forward to spring!

I went out for a walk and took my camera with me, here are some photos for you to see how the spring is progressing here. Some snow here and there…no flowers… but at least sun is shining and thats something we have waited for all long winter! Lovely day!

Weather is all grey today and its raining! temperature is + 1 c, feels strange after so long cold period. Rain is melting the snow but there is so much of it that it doesnt lower much in one day. This is how it looks now:

I dont think all the snow will melt yet , its only february and spring isnt here at least before end of march.

I have been quite stressed of work lately and it affects my weekends too, i cant stop thinking about work stuff. I really need the break. Only 2 weeks to go… Otherwise im doing better im not so down anymore. I just have to keep some stuff out of my sight and out of my mind and im fine.

Weight project is going well, i have  lost many kg ´s again. Im tying to excercise and relax and keep the diet on. Next summer i will be fine im sure. And this will be for rest of my life. This is to my true friends:

Has been so warm lately that almost all snow has melted. This is strange. First we have - 20 c and after next few days temperature is +2-+4 c. Its so dark and wet and depressing…where  has the sun gone again? If someone finds it please send it back to us. :(  Half of this month has already gone, and really soon the spring will be here for real.  Steve asked me in my chatroom if we see wild animals here on our farm. Yes we do, we get rabbits, foxes, deers, birds ( we have always lots of swans on our fields on springtime) , squirrels and so on. Just before new year we captured 2 moose going near our house through our fields, they do walk there quite often. Now and then we get rumours that someone has seen wolves too, and we do have those in our woods occationally but they are scared of us more than we have to be worried about them. I have never seen them here and i think they dont come near houses. In some parts of Finland (north east)  they sometimes have problem about some aggressive ones who attack dogs or lambs or other domestic animals. And Europe Union doesnt want wolves to be killed so it may be bad problem.  Moose is a very impressing animal:

Today i cleaned Sakuras terra. She looks very confused now. It smells too clean here!!!!!!!!

Im glad holidays are over and its just an ordinary weekend ahead! Well i didnt have vacation , only christmas days and new years day off from work but somehow its a relief every year that all this is over again and life goes back to normal. I do like christmas, i just worry about it too much lol. I heard it has been cold everywhere in Europe this week, UK has snow and freezing cold, and the same has been going on here. Several days the temperature was between - 12- -20 c. - 20 c is cold i can assure you, but we can get even - 30 c or more some winters. Usually we have 2-3 very cold periods during wintertime when temp goes this down. Today it wasnt so bad anymore, when i went to work this morning it showed only - 2 c and we got some more snow. I miss the sun thou. Sky was grey and it was dark.

Saana got money for present for her birthday, and guess what she bought! A Nintendo Ds:

Cute pink one isnt it. She is getting the Nintendogs game for it.

Work week went quickly, as we had day off on tuesday. It was holiday here and everyone was off.  Today i was bowling again and i did quite well. I have been bowling once a week for 2 years now and its so much fun.
