Barley is cut, school started and i started my new job. I enjoy it so far, children are so great. My teenager is starting her hobbies too after long summer, theatre rehearsals start on monday evening and she starts Japanese lessons on friday. Dont ask me why, i have no idea she is just very interested in Japan for some reason.  Its not so hot here anymore, mornings are quite fresh and chilly. Autumn is here.

I hope you all are fine and keep happy! Im not looking forward to long cold dark winter which we have ahead, but thats life. Seasons change and we cant help it, i wish it was always summer.

Wow i didnt realise its been so long since i updated this blog last time, i am sorry many of you have asked me to do so and i been so busy. .. bad excuse i know lol. As you know i left my job at clinic in end of may, and i thought i would have lots of spare time this summer looking for a new job and spending time at home. But. Only after less than 2 weeks i got a phonecall and was invited to a job for 2 months, and of course i said yes. Its about helping unemployed ppl to find a job and covernement paying them a small pay for doing it, it will help them to find real jobs or they start studying after that. Getting forward in their lives anyway.Its been interesting there and i enjoy it very much. 13th august will be my last day there, and on 16th i will start as nursery teacher! I am qualified nursery teacher but i have never done that before, so i am quite excited. So no vacations, no holidays for Annie. Phew.

Weather in Finland has been very strange this summer. First just after we had planted our barley we got heavy rains and our fields looked like this:

This ruined big part of our barley and we had to do planting all over again. After the rains we have been having the hottest weather for 50 years. Over 30 c for weeks and weeks. Yesterday we got 34 c! We are not used to this kind of temperatures and many old ppl are having health problems. I keep all windows  and doors open so the wind gets to blow through the house it helps a bit. And i have curtains closed. In my office at work its been awful, im sweating so much lol. Hard work…  No one knows how long this will last and all are praying for rain its so dry. Now i understand ppl in Texas and other hot places.  But then again when i remember the - 30 c temp in winter this is not so bad after all.. Is this global warming and climate change going on…who knows!

Family is doing well, hubby working hard and Saana having her summer break. She is visiting her friends a lot and having fun with our little dog. Im going to do a trip to Helsinki with her next saturday, some shopping and good dinner and so on. A day for just us girls

Nuppu is doing well, she is growing fast . We made a dog fence for her and she enjoys it very much. She is so adorable little dog. Im dreaming of having another one too, for some reason i feel  it would be so nice to have 2 little white snowballs  here.

We having lovely summer weather now, over + 20 c every day and sun. I hope it never ends. I am a redhead now btw

It hasnt been getting much warmer  here yet, we still have frozen nights and only 3-8 c during the day. Plus it has been raining and cold winds blowing so not very nice. But we hoping to have even + 17 c next week,  and i really wish it would happen, im getting tired of this bad weather after cold long winter. All snow has gone now. Leaves in trees are just small ones but they are getting green, grass istn growing much yet but has turned green. Sometimes i think i would be much better somewhere warm but still i love this place.

I still work for 3 weeks and then im free, hoping to have break on summer and start working somewhere again in autumn. If i dont get interesting job offers before that. We will see what happens. Im relieved, have been stressed out this spring and my health hasnt been so good. Maybe im getting old????  Mikko is starting spring work soon on our farm, its been too cold so far but next week he starts planting the barley. Hoping for good summer!

Saana has summer break soon, last school day is 5th june, and then 10 weeks break. Her theatre project ended on april, she was Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland. She enjoyed it very much. Maybe she will be an actress when she grows up?

Nuppu is doing great, she had her first grooming last week and now she looks this beautiful. She has grown a lot, shes 4 months now. We all love her very much. <3

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing well and everything is fine with you. I have been quite busy lately with the puppy and also i work full time now for 2 months. I have decided to stop working at clinic and i am looking for new job. It was getting too stressful for me, i have had some health problems this spring and i have to take life easier now.  I have this eye illnes iritis time to time, this time it went so bad i almost lost sight in my left eye, but now it is better thank god and i can see ok with it. Life looks good again lol.  It lasted 6 weeks and i was getting desperate. I am also suffering  from some problems in my tummy.  Family is doing great, and we all are enjoying our new family member, little dog Nuppu. She is very stubborn and wild, but she can be very sweet too. Unfortunately i am not going to stream in Camstreams for now, i miss all you lovely friends but i did it almost 4 years and i think it is enough. Let the others go on. I am grateful for all the happy moments there and friends for life i got! Its great that you still are interested in my life and i promise to update my blog now and then to stay connected and letting you all know how i am doing.  Have a nice spring everyone! Soon it will be summer….

As you can see spring is not very green yet here, snow has just melted , temperature is above freezing but during nights we still get frosts.  We dont have any flowers yet here.

Guess what? We had decided that the dog isnt allowed to come in our bed …….!

My new look with my new glasses.

I know it has been very cold winter all over Europe and UK is having problems with snow and cold. Here in Finland we are used to weather like this, we got proper tyres in cars and heated houses and trible glazings in windows and so on. I  have never liked wintertime very much but i have to admit its beautiful! Our day is 6 hours 20 mins long now and we are getting more light every day! Around christmas we had only about 5 hours daylight. Looking forward to spring!
